Break

Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been having slight medical problems recently, My vision was getting worse again (it had only been 6 months since I got new glasses.) and the eye doctor couldn't find anything wrong with my eyes so we went to our regular doctor and they ran some tests and I got a cat scan, and luckily everything came back normal, about that time the new allergy medication I was taking started to take effect and my vision troubles started to clear up so I guess it was allergies.

So starting next week I am going to get back into my workout and eating habits.
I am just going to restart the day count where it is now instead of trying to figure out how many days it has been.

Also I am still going to run the warrior dash, even if it kills me.

Day 23

Today went well, I did not have time to work out and it is not looking like I'll have time to do so at all this week. But I did manage too to stay below my calorie limit. Even with eating McDonald's (ick).

Days 17-19

Not so good this week, I think my main problem is that I burnt myself out last week, I am probably going to sit down tomorrow and come up with an actual workout schedule.
Tomorrow I should do ok, I have to go mow a woman's yard tomorrow.

Day 16

Well first of all today was not a very good day.

I weighed in today and I lost the same amount after keeping careful track of my calories and working out consistently as I did the week I didn't.
I am now down to 289 pounds and while I would like to have lost more I am glad for what I did lose.

Now onto what really made today suck.

I did not workout today and partly due to that I also went over my calorie limit, I should be able to make up for it though.
Now, the reason I didn't work out today was because my family's outside cat drug himself up to the back porch in horrible shape this morning, he was really skittish so I couldn't get a good look until afternoon, couple that with it looking like he just had mud on him and so it wasn't until the afternoon that I managed to get a good look in, turns out he must have gotten into a fight with another cat while he was doing things-male-cats-usually-do-around-now, and he had gotten his jaw pretty well torn up, not broken but there was skin hanging off.
We took him to the vet and they ran some test and he is clear for everything except feline leukemia, now that won't hurt him that much right now, it is like AIDS for cats, all it will do is slow down the healing process so he has a few more good years left on him. Tomorrow the are going to neuter him and see what they can do about the rest but he should be fine.
Hopefully tomorrow will go better.

Day 15

Today was a good day. I managed to stay under my calorie limit and though I didn't work out I managed to do some house work to instead. Got some stuff done around my room. Feeling really optimistic about Monday's weigh in. See you all Monday.

Days 11-14

Sorry about the lack of posts, I am really forgetful sometimes.

However, this week has been a good one, I have, so far, not gone over my calorie limit and managed to work out everyday, combine that with having lost 3 pounds from last week and I would say it was a really great week so far. Posting early so I don't forget.

Day 7

Kind of a good day, I did not work out like normal because I had some work around the house to do, I barely made my calorie limit because my dad challenged me to a Gladiator duel on the PS3 Move.

Just to clarify I won't be posting on the weekends.

Today was a good day. Didn't do all the exercises I wanted but a I did stay well under my calorie limit. I only lost a pound since last week though. :(

Day 4 & 5

Oops. Missed a day again. Anyway, Yesterday was good, I went for a walk and stayed below my calorie limit, today not so much, I did go for a walk but I had a high calorie lunch and supper and I don't have a clue what the calorie count for that food would be.

Days 2 & 3

Didn't make a post yesterday. oops.

Yesterday I did pretty good, stayed under my calorie limit and did some upper body work and walked 2 miles.

Today not so good, I did not stay over my calorie limit because I did not work out today because I spent it building my first PC.

Day: 1 February, 20 2012

Today was a fairly good day, got up later than planned but ate a granola bar and then went for a 2 mile walk, going to get good at that then build up, going more for habit building then anything.

Today was not a good day on the nutrition front, due to the schedule I had Zaxby's chicken fingers for lunch and left over pizza for supper. However I was able to stay below my calorie limit, combined with my exorcise, I use the Lose it iPhone app to keep track of my calories and such.
Going to try to do better nutrition wise tomorrow.

first Post

I am a fat gamer. Gamers have earned, yes earned, a reputation for being fat. I am fat. I weigh roughly 295 pounds. I am 18 and roughly 6' tall. I need to lose weight. I want to be healthier and lighter without giving up my 2 favorite things, gaming, and eating. I am going to start working out this coming Monday and I am going to try to eat better, hopefully won't be too hard since I tend to like healthier food but too often take the easy road out and eat prepackaged garbage. I start my first semester of college in the fall and I will run the Warrior dash in April. My goal is to be able to run the race and be under 250 by the start of college. More to come starting Monday. Hopefully I will post nightly to document my progress for the day.
